Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of outsourcedcfohelp.com and the content, digital products, and services offered by Tax Practice Consulting, Inc. DBA Outsourced CFO Help (“Outsourced CFO Help,” “we,” “us”). By using this site, purchasing, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
Who we are
Outsourced CFO Help is a registered fictitious business name of Tax Practice Consulting, Inc., a California corporation. The corporation is the contracting party under these Terms, and your card statement and receipt will show Tax Practice Consulting, Inc.
What we provide
We provide ongoing bookkeeping, fractional controller, and fractional CFO services to small and mid-sized businesses, sold as a monthly retainer. Scope, fees, and deliverables for your engagement are set out in a written engagement letter, which governs the work alongside these Terms.
Not professional advice; no professional relationship
Our content and products are general educational and informational resources. They are not legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice, and buying a product or reading any of our sites does not create a CPA-client, attorney-client, or other professional or fiduciary relationship. A professional advisory relationship is created only by a separate written engagement agreement. You remain responsible for your own professional decisions, for verifying current law with the appropriate authorities, and for complying with the rules of any board that licenses or registers you.
Neither Outsourced CFO Help nor Tax Practice Consulting, Inc. is a CPA firm. We do not provide attest services — audits, reviews, or compilations — and we do not hold ourselves out as doing so.
Engagements
Work begins only under a written engagement letter that sets out scope, fees, and deliverables. A discovery call is an introductory conversation and does not by itself create an engagement or any professional relationship.
We rely on the completeness and accuracy of the records and information you provide. We do not audit or independently verify them, and we are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of information you supplied that was incomplete or inaccurate.
Your records and our materials
Your books, financial records, and source documents belong to you. On request or on cancellation we will return them in a standard exportable format at no charge.
Templates, models, checklists, and working papers we develop and reuse across clients remain ours. You may use them for your own business without restriction; you may not resell or redistribute them.
Fees, billing, and cancellation
Retainers are billed monthly in advance in U.S. dollars at the tier agreed in your engagement letter. There is no minimum term. You may change tiers, pause, or cancel effective the next billing date. Retainers are not prorated mid-month, and months already worked are not refunded. Full terms are on our Billing & Cancellation page.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The sites, products, and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Tax law changes, and figures that are current when a volume or guide is published may not be current when you read it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or service giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Any results, savings, or revenue figures described anywhere on our sites are illustrations, not guarantees.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are reflected by the “last updated” date above. Your continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
